2. What we collect and why
When you sign up for car offers. We collect your name, company, email and phone number, whether you buy or sell, the fuel types, sizes and brands you choose, and your consent. We also record the time, the page and language you signed up on, your country and IP address, and the campaign or website that brought you to the page, if any.
We use it to send you car offers by email and to follow up on your sign-up. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR article 6(1)(a)) for the offers, and our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries and seeing which campaigns work (article 6(1)(f)). You can withdraw your consent at any time.
When you trade with us or contact us. We keep the contact and trade details needed to handle the trade, invoices and any claims. Legal basis: the agreement with you or your company (article 6(1)(b)) and the Danish Bookkeeping Act (article 6(1)(c)).
When you visit the website. Our hosting provider processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages and protect the site. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (article 6(1)(f)).
You do not have to give us any data, but without contact details we cannot send you offers. We do not collect sensitive data and make no automated decisions about you.
3. Cookies and statistics
This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, so there is no cookie banner.
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It shows us totals, such as which pages are visited and which websites send visitors, without cookies and without recognising you.
On the last step of the sign-up form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person and not a bot is sending it. It is only used for that check.
4. Who we share data with
We use these providers to run the website and our sales work. They only process data on our instructions:
- Cloudflare: hosting, statistics and the bot check
- n8n: passes sign-ups on to our systems
- Pipedrive: our customer system
- Google: a log of sign-ups
- Microsoft: email
We may also share data with DB Rental AB and DB Mobility SAS when they handle a trade you are part of, and with authorities when the law requires it. We never sell your data.
Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA, for example in the USA. These transfers are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the EU’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep it
- Sign-ups: until you unsubscribe or the contact is no longer relevant.
- Trade and customer data: as long as we trade, and after that as long as needed to document trades and claims.
- Accounting records: 5 years after the end of the financial year (Danish Bookkeeping Act).
6. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to limit or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a machine-readable format. You can withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time. Write to sales@db-trading.dk.

7. Changes
We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
